The Strelitzia flower is a magnificent flower, an unique creature that takes your breath away when seen in real life. It is part of our heritage and native to South Africa. All of us grew up with this flower blossoming in our garden. It evokes fond memories whenever you see it.

It flourishes in flat clay soils with flowers blooming four weeks long. Just like grapes flourishing in its ideal circumstance into something beautiful.

The name Elisa is short for Elisabeth, who was a lady known for her passion for the Strelitzia flower and a keen grower.
